1000 YEARS RULE OR MILLENNIAL RULE

The Bible has lot of metaphors and when some one is in doubt regarding what is mentioned in the Bible, the answers should be sought in the Bible since mundane knowledge cannot answer (Rev 22:18). Many writers who commented upon the 1000 years rule put forth their guesswork but have not researched Bible. There are several interpretations. Many Christians are being taken for a ride. Satan has misinterpreted Bible, the teaching of Christ (Gal 1:6,7). Today’s Christians do not lend their ears to good words but rather would like preachers who interpret the word conveniently according to their deeds (2 Tim 4:3-4). John, the apostle is the author of 5 books in the New Testament and the last one is revelation. The essence of revelation coupled with the contents of the 4 books can be found in many books of the New Testament. One verse in Bible does not contradict the other. Writers and readers should not interpret the words in the Bible according to their convenience. The exact context and connotation intended by God for each word should be preserved in toto, not a word more, not a word less which otherwise would be handy to Satan and his witchcraft. Satan in the guise of a Christian and follower of Christian is always at hand to lead us to perdition, which is its sole aim-one has to be extra careful when one reads, speaks, writes about Bible otherwise the result would be great damage- to Bible and to us. Every minute aspect of Bible should be researched (James 1:21). It is in the air that the 1000 years rule is around. This rule will not be on earth. Let us go forward with the help of divine knowledge not with the limited understanding of man. The 5 prerequisites of a rule and a ruler are 1. King 2. Subjects 3 Territory 4. Sovereignty and 5.Time. Coupled with the revelation 20:4- 6 let us examine the 1000-year rule. I request the readers to carefully go through each sentence here afterwards. Before Christ the world was ruled by 4 empires 1. The Babylonian Empire 2. The Medo-Persian empire 3.The Greek empire and 4. The Roman Empire. The emperor of Babylonian kingdom was Nebuchadnezzar. One day he had a vision of a statue whose head was golden, chest silver, stomach and thighs made of Brass, ankles iron and feet of iron and mud. Daniel while interpreting the vision told him that gold stood for Babylonian kingdom which would be followed after him by a less powerful regime to be followed by a third regime and to be further followed by a fourth reign during which time dissensions will spring leading to the fall of the empire. (Dan 2:44) When we examine the book of Daniel, 4 metals metaphorically represent 4 empires. At the end of the 4 th empire God takes a small stone, which crushes the 4 metals and transforms itself into a huge mountain. This stone symbolizes the eternal kingdom of God. God establishes His kingdom during the reign of these kings. It is necessary to take a look at the vision of John. He visualized a beast instead of a statue and a crowned beast and the beast has 3 more beastly shapes 1 A Beast 2. A leopard 3.A bear and 4.A lion (Rev 13:1-5). Both the visions of Daniel and John seem to be similar. The 4 metals in one visions, the 4 animals in another ruled the earth against the wishes of God. These 4 empires are before Christ. Let us look at another word Dan 2:44 "In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. According to the above word God who is the most supreme must have established His kingdom during the reign of the Roman Empire But today’s Christian world is in doubt whether God’s kingdom is established or not. Their questions should be answered by Bible alone. And let us proceed further. Matt 3:1-2 In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the Desert of Judea and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." Matt 4:17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." From the above we can ascertain that from the beginning of New Testament prayers were offered for the onset of kingdom of heaven. We have testimony to this effect in the New Testament. Mark 9:1 And he said to them, "I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power." Some Disciples of Christ must have seen the onset of the kingdom of heaven. If however even after the passing of 2003 years if the kingdom of God is not found on earth, some disciples must still be living aged about 2000 years, which is impossible. The apostles who followed Christ must have died in the first century Luke 11:20 But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come to you. John the apostle who wrote about the 1000-year rule testifies thus. Rev 1:6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father-to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. Rev 1:9 I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. According to the evidence he also must have witnessed the advent of God’s kingdom Col 1:13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves. 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. From the above words we are also made kings in the kingdom of Jesus. Basing on the evidence of John, Paul and Peter the kingdom of Jesus was established in the first century (Kindly refer to the previous topics were I dealt on Whither the kingdom of Jesus?) If you pre read it before this you can understand better. God did not send Jesus, His son, the stone during the first 3 regimes but sent him during the dissensions of Roman Empire and made him sovereign. John 18:36-38 Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place." "You are a king, then!" said Pilate. Jesus answered, "You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me." "What is truth?" Pilate asked. With this he went out again to the Jews and said, "I find no basis for a charge against him. The kingdom of Jesus was established 2000 years ago and is spread over the whole world. On this earth Christ is the king, Christians are the kingdom the entire world is the territory (since major part of the world’s population are Christians), law is the New Testament, the aeons are the ages. And this is the essence of the dream of Nebuchadnezzar (Matt 28:18). With his second coming the kingdom and the subjects will be taken to heaven and they shall be resurrected. 1 Cor 15:23-25 But each in his own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. From this examination those believers in the hereafter shall be eternal. Earthly kingdoms might be ended, uprooted, decimated but the kingdom of God is eternal, huge. John proclaimed the same in the first chapter and tells us that he is a part of that empire and regime. But however if the word regime or reign contained in the 20th chapter of revelation is misinterpreted we can say that there is no kingdom of God on earth. Satan misleads us, distances us and leads us to hell. Every secret must be revealed and hence it is a secret. Those who have ears shall hear. # Mark 4:22-24 "Consider carefully what you hear," he continued. We have in the New Testament indications of rule and reign. In Jerusalem under the leadership of Peter and his speech 3000 people gathered for the first time during the festival of Pentecost and were baptized. From hence these people believed in breaking the bread, fellowship believing the teachings of apostles and are a congregation. In the true socialistic sense these people disposed of their properties and distributed among others as per their needs (Acts 2:41-47). Thence the kingdom of Jesus grew by leaps and bounds and spread to Asia, Europe and Africa and the number swelled to lakhs, nay billions and by 1900 the kingdom of Jesus has the largest chunk of population in the world (2 cor 4:4; Col 1:13). When we examine the above kingdom, society social rule are all one. 1. Eph 1:20-23, 2. 1 Peter 2:9, 3. Matt 28:19, 4. James 1:21; John 12:48; Rev 22:18-19 5 This kingdom of God established 33 years after Christ is 2000 years old. (Eph 5:5) This is the universal congregation. Christ is the head or the emperor his word is the law and shall be the law. (Phil 3:16; Eph 3:3-4; Rev 1:3) John wrote about the past, present and the future in the revelation. We should try to understand the context and metaphor contained in them. Three words in Revelation 20:4-6 we have mentioned of the 1000- year rule I divide them here to make you understand better. 1. Thrones: Those who are enthroned. By enthroned people we should understood that they are judicious and almost peers of Christ. Christ himself assured the throne to such of those (Rev 3:21; Rom 8:29,30) these words speak of the future glory. In that case what is the role of Christians on earth today under the rule of Christ? The governments shall be prayed for and the rulers shall be priestly. (1 Tim 2:1,2) The rulers are charged with foresight, spread of good knowledge and the welfare of all, which are all priestly attributes. (1 Cor 2:6-13) And we find Christians like this today. These people shall be judges and the earthy kingdom becomes heavenly kingdom, judges to all, including angles too. 1 Cor 6:2-5 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, appoint as judges even men of little account in the church! I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers? 2 Peter 2:4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment. (1 Cor 15:23-25) The above shows that true Christians shall be empowered both on heaven and earth. 2. The Beast: (Rev 13:2, Matt 28:18) The Dragon empowered the beast and like Jesus, the apostles and prophets and their beneficial work on earth the beast in the guise of Christ is relentless in its misdeeds. It is also a light like Christ. Luke 10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. It also has retinue. Satan dons the garb of Jesus and it is no wonder his followers too appear like preachers. 2 Cor 11:13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 2 Cor 11:15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. 3. Those who do not bear the mark of the Beast: The true Christians on earth do not salute the beast or its representation, do not bear the mark on their forehead nor their hands. a) Those who have the mark of the beast on their forehead: - These people sin by thought and heart (Matt 12:34) Conscience is the seat of all sin and the heart is the most dangerous organ. It is diseased says the prophet before the flood. Gen 6:5 The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. The word says that an evil thought which springs in the heart is more dangerous and is a sin. (Matt 5:27-28) One should not allow evil thoughts in the heart, which amounts to prostitution. The earthy laws insist on physical evidence for crime where as the law based on God’s word considers an evil thought as a crime. The word of God alone prevents the evil thought. Heb 4:12-13 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Satan today is instigating and making the minds of millions evil. These are the people who are impure in mind and heart and are criminals according to the word of God. Most Christians delude themselves unaware of this. b) People with seal of Satan on their palms: Physical prostitution succeeds prostitution by heart and mind. The sin begins in mind and becomes an act and these are the one who bear the mark on their palms. (Rom 1:28-32, Eph 2:3) The faithful do not bear the mark of Satan on their forehead or on their palms, which means they are pure in thought and clean in body and totally subscribe to the word of God and remain pure. Baptized, these true Christians do not fall a prey to the worldly vicissitudes but totally repose faith in the lord. 2 Tim 3:12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. 1 Peter 4:16 However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. 4. Those resurrected: The souls of who were witness to Christ, who were beheaded for the kingdom of God were resurrected and lived and rule for a millennium and this is the first resurrection wrote John. The New Testament talks of two resurrections. a) First resurrection: It should take place only on earth. First resurrection means rising from the dead. (Rev 20:6) Doubtless it can be said that those who have been baptized in Christ are the first resurrected. Bible alone can answer its doubts. Blessed are these who are first resurrected. Eph 2:1-5 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions-it is by grace you have been saved. Rom 6:3-5 Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection. i) Blessed: Those who believe in God and Christ and matters eternal are the blessed. They shall be blessed in every respect and every child shall be blessed. (Eph 1:3-6; Matt 5:3-12) ii) Saints: The faithful are the saints (Eph 1:1; Rom 1:1-2; 1 Cor 1:2) The wages of sin is death. 1 Peter 2:9-10 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. Rom 6:16-23; Acts 2:37-39 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off-for all whom the Lord our God will call." These are who interceded for Christ, beheaded for the word of God. They are bound by the word, had a change of heart, renounced their sinful life, were baptized, blessed, saintly and were a part and parcel of the first resurrection and such of those people, the true Christians were the part of the kingdom of Christ or the congregation who are ruling the earth (Rev 1:9). While being a part of this divine regime is it not foolish to expect another reign if Christ’s kingdom does not exist on earth then the words spoken by him that some of you will not die until you witness the advent of kingdom” will become false. Mark 9:1 And he said to them, "I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power." (1 Peter 2:9) iii) Rest of the dead who did not live: These are the one who do not know Christ. Though among the faithful yet faithless, by their sins and their commissions and omissions they remain dead. Luke 13:23 Someone asked him, "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?" Heb 4:2 For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did not combine it with faith. Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 2 Thess 2:13-16 But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter. May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope. 2 Thess 2:13-15 But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter. By the above sentences and according to James 1:21 those who remain dead are those who do not believe in the word which alone can save the souls. b) Second death: The first resurrection means acceptance of Christ as savior who do not get judged or sentenced. John 3:16-19 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. John 5:24 "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. Rom 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Such people mentioned by John in the 1000-year rule have no second death. Those who do not comply with the word shall be judged and shall die a second time. The followers of Satan shall face endless fire and a second death. Their acts shall meet with the correct lot. They do no believe in death in Christ and shall be fuel to the endless fire. This fire is second death. (Rev 20:13) c) Second resurrection: People who are a part of first resurrection people who lived from Adam to Christ but who have died and are faithful and pure shall partake in second resurrection. If we believe that Christ rises from the dead similarly those who rest in Christ shall be blessed by God and shall have second resurrection 1 Thess 4:13-17 Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 1 Cor 15:42-44 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. 5. 1000 Years: 1000 years is a long period. The objects, animals, numbers used in revelation are metaphors, which show their nature. For example when we say Christ is a lamb it means he is soft and tender. Similarly when Satan is compared to Dragon it symbolizes the forked tongue, blowing hot and cold the devious, deceitful nature. These are only metaphors and are figurative. Similarly the 1000 years doesn’t mean that people live up to 1000 but the number 1000 symbolizes longevity (1cor 15:25). Luke 1:33 And he will reign over the house of Jacob forever and His kingdom will have no end. The second coming of Christ takes the earthy kingdom to the heaven. In this context Daniel interpreted the vision of Nebuchadnezzar as the establishment of an immutable and endless kingdom of God. (Dan 2:44) It is a known fact that John also corroborates the same fact when he says that he lived under the same rule. This rule is also symbolic and figurative. None of these contradicted themselves, however many thoughtless people misinterpret the wisdom of God. The kingdom of God is very much there, unmindful and stupidly they shout slogans Thy kingdom come where as it is already in existence. Many things mentioned in Bible are being misconstrued and Satan in the guise of Christ is confining them to endless fire. This is my humble contribution to expose the invisible enemy and to bring to light the hidden treasures. Be judicious help re establishment of truth and it is for you to extend your mighty hand of cooperation to our society. We have been unceasing in our effort to expose the fabrications, the interpolations through our organ “Earth Somersault”, I take leave of you in the hope that you would strengthen our hands.
