THE GOD WHO CARES FOR YOU

Everyone is worried about his/her future, whether it is young or old is bothered by the same thoughts about the future. Some may get scared and go to the Almighty god. But some go away from Him. Some may become spiritually strong, but some may get spiritually weakened. In this message let us see how god has planned for us and cared for our future.

We come across the young maid Esther, in the book of Esther chapter 2 and verse 7. She lost her parents at a very young age. It is miserable for a girl who has lost her parents. We cannot imagine how afflicted her life would have been. The young girl when she had lost her parents wept bittererly wondering whether there was God? If he was, why he was so rude to her? The hearts and minds of all her kinsmen were filled with the some thoughts.

Esther lost her parents and in a way she lost everything in the world. There were none to earn for her, her daily bread. There were none to come forward to shoulder her responsibility. She became all alone, none to lean on as an orphan. Psalms 10:14 says “thou art the helper of fatherless”. Psalms 10:17 says “Lord thou hast heard the desire of the humble; thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear”. Psalms 92:5 tells that “O Lord how great are thy works and thy thoughts are very deep”. It is very difficult to comprehend His thoughts. Surprisingly God showed a way to Esther who lost everyone in the world. The benefactor of the destitute instigated one of her kinsmen Mordecai to become breadwinner and he accepted her as his daughter.

My dear reader, Mordecai looked after and provided for her everything. Likewise Jesus Christ fulfills necessities of yours also. For that only Abraham tells his son Isaac JEHOVAH JIREAH (Gen 22:14), which means Almighty father provides for everything. Jesus Christ looks after your every need. Whoever trusts in Jesus Christ need not be worried about their future as our future is in Gods hand. Our dear Lord leads us and gives us everything.

Job 38:41 says “Who provides for the raven his food”. Dear brethren how encouraging is His word! How sweet is His love. Jesus said in Lk 12:22 “And He said unto his disciples, therefore I say unto you take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what that ye shall put on”. Lk 12:30 says “For all these things do the nations of the world seek after and your father knoweth that ye have need of these things”. Esther became alone when her parents had died leaving her to be an orphan in the world. But she was never orphaned as God who said “I shall never leave them orphaned” visited her life anew. He showed Esther a new father and caretaker. Our dear God indeed looks after every need of ours.

Esther would have been relieved and felt solace as Mordecai took the responsibility of her. But the invisible God was preparing a plan to bless her more; making queen of an orphan was His plan. As days passed by, worry and anxiety about her future became even more and more for she was hoping merely for a man belonging to middle class to marry her, so that she could have a family of her own. But she could have never imagined that our dear Almighty had chosen a king for her to marry. How deep are God Almighty’s thoughts.

There is absolute difference between God’s deeds and man’s deeds. We get tired trying in vain to identify Lord’s ways. We may be vexed and treat ill God. We may lead a desperate life without hope. We would not be able to realize God and His ways. Many times we get depressed. It is for that most of the letters we receive are of this type only. Many of us shoulder the responsibilities and are strained and stretched to the maximum. Yet if we wonder who would bear the entire responsibility how fortunate is Esther. What a wonderful God is he who had been a support for her! Will it be possible for us to understand such a wonderful god’s love!!

My dear reader, we get annoyed and feel desolate and depressed unable to understand the god’s plans. Jesus Christ, the good shepherd may seem the dark and deep valley, but it leads us to a spring. Oh! Dear you shall not forget this! If we are trapped in the dark and deep valley and confused and terribly scared, if you look to Jesus our good shepherd all the desperation, frustration and misery will disappear. We will be lead to meadows from the dark deep and dangerous conditions. We will forget all the misery and see the comforting and tranquil water so clearly.

Anyhow what happened to Esther? One day unexpectedly the king of the country where Esther was living began to gather all the virgins of the country to choose for him a queen. Esther was extremely beautiful she was brought to capital city. She was bothered by the thought that there were many girls brought for the king, would she be chosen by the king as his queen. She would have had many worrying thoughts thronging her mind like would the king choose an orphan like her? If the king chooses her she would become queen? or if she is not chosen she would return to her foster father’s (Mordecai) home. Lo! Then at that moment God came down for Esther’s sake. Bible says in Neh. 1:11our God will give “grace to find favor in the presence of this men”. And in Neh 2:8 Bible says, “Because the gracious hand of my God was upon me, the king granted my request”. And According to Dan 3:29 our God is a God who changes the decrees of the king.

No sooner Esther entered the royal palace than the kings heart began to change in favor of Esther. The king crowned Esther as his queen. All the misery she experience after her patents death and the uncertainty of her life were all disappeared. She was awarded with the highest status of the land.

Dear reader, the God who had this king of plan for an orphan indeed have the same plans for you also. He can look after everything of our needs. Hence in 1 Peter 5:7 bible says “cast your anxiety on him because he cares for you”. We have a Lord who is worried about us. HE is Almighty God. Handover all your worries to Him, do not keep anything with you. Jesus Christ carried the cross on His shoulder for the sins of the world and if you add your worries to Him, he is ready to bear. Hence do not worry and give all your worries to Him and be brave and watchful. May God meet and fulfill all your wants and necessities with His blessed treasure and may the Lord bless your future. Amen.
